Storm hits Mostar, cars destroyed, wind topples trees

(Patria) - Last night around 11 p.m., a storm hit Mostar, which, although lasting only a few minutes, left visible consequences across the city.

Hurricane-force winds accompanied by heavy rain suddenly swept through the city, and their force was enough to cause significant material damage in a very short time.

The hardest hit was the Bijeli Brijeg neighborhood, where wind gusts uprooted trees, while numerous broken branches ended up on parked cars.

The exact extent of the damage will be known only in the morning hours, when a more detailed inspection of the affected areas and an assessment of the consequences left by the storm are expected.
