Gathering in Sarajevo over the premature death of Džejla Drapić

(Patria) - A gathering was held in Sarajevo over the premature death of Džejla Drapić, a young girl who lost her life after complications during dental treatment. The gathering took place at 12:00 PM in front of Sebilj on Baščaršija, after which those present proceeded in a procession towards the City Hall.



In a symbolic gesture, balloons were released in her honor, bearing written messages and her name, as a sign of remembrance of her short but significant life.

– The saddest thing is when we have to remember some people longer than we knew them. One of them is our Džejla Drapić, a girl of pure soul and beautiful heart who left us too soon – reads the statement issued by an informal group of citizens.

Let us recall, Džejla passed away on October 11. Prior to that, she was treating a tooth at the practice "Dr. Haris Mekić" in Sarajevo. Due to everything, the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has opened a case and is conducting an intensive investigation.
