Citizens' gathering in Sarajevo on February 7th not announced to KS MUP

A citizens' gathering on February 7th, 2015, which will mark last year's protests with a peaceful walk, has not been announced to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, confirmed Irfan Nefić, spokesperson for the KS MUP for the Patria news agency.

He stated that they are monitoring activities and are cooperating with other security agencies. 

This was also confirmed yesterday by SIPA and the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies. SIPA stated that they have information about a citizens' gathering in the Tuzla Canton, while the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies will react if there are larger gatherings of citizens in the immediate vicinity of the facilities they protect.

- The Directorate will take all necessary measures to protect them - it was announced.

The citizens' gathering is scheduled for 11:55 AM in front of the Hygiene Institute to the Eternal Flame monument.
