Citizens gathering in front of the Sarajevo Canton Government due to air pollution

SARAJevo, (Patria) - An informal group of Sarajevo citizens is organizing a gathering from 12 to 13 in the park in front of the Sarajevo Canton building due to air pollution in Sarajevo.
Organizers have invited citizens via Facebook to come with masks in front of the Sarajevo Canton Government. This morning's values are much lower than in previous days, but the air is still unhealthy. 

Pollution data has been exceeding all permissible values for days, leading to respiratory problems, lung diseases, and affecting the entire organism. There is still no systemic solution, and the Sarajevo Canton Government announced last week that protective masks with filters would be distributed to the socially vulnerable. The Sarajevo Canton Government has lifted the Alarm measure, leaving the Warning in effect. It was announced that free public transport (trams and trolleybuses) would be provided when the alarm measure is reinstated. 

"Out of responsibility towards children who are forced to inhale toxic particles due to our negligence, we, gathered in an informal group, call on all citizens, domestic and
international non-governmental organizations focused on child welfare, environmental associations, and all other interested parties to jointly express our concern and dissatisfaction with the current approach to this currently most serious problem with unforeseeable consequences for citizens' health through a peaceful protest gathering," say the informal group of citizens.
