Talks Concluded at EU Delegation, Čović and Izetbegović Without Details

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today's all-day talks on amendments to the Election Law and limited amendments to the Constitution concluded in the afternoon hours at the EU Delegation building. The meeting was attended by the presidents of HDZ BiH and SDA, Dragan Čović and Bakir Izetbegović, with US envoy for electoral reform Matthew Palmer and Angelina Eichhorst, director at the European External Action Service.

The president of SBB, Fahrudin Radončić, attended a part of today's talks, although his party has only one representative and one delegate in the State Parliament.

Izetbegović and Čović did not give statements after the meeting, but Izetbegović briefly said that negotiations on electoral reforms would continue tomorrow and that there was nothing new today.

This morning, the president of DF, Željko Komšić, held a meeting with officials at the US ambassador's residence, accompanied by two state representatives.

Yesterday, opposition parties in FBiH SDP BiH, NIP, Naša stranka, as well as representatives of the Central Election Commission and the civil sector, held meetings.

Last night, Čović, Izetbegović, and Milorad Dodik, president of SNSD, were together at a dinner at the EU ambassador's residence, Johann Sattler.
