Multi-day search concluded: Body of missing Fata Grcić found

(Patria) - Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) Novi Grad Sarajevo announced today on their Facebook profile that the lifeless body of missing Fata Grcić was found near the M5 main road and the Lapišnica quarry.

"The multi-day search for the missing Fata Grcić, who left her family apartment in Alipašino Polje, Bosanska street, on February 19, 2025, was focused on the Old Town area.

Surveillance cameras recorded her movements in the Dariva and Bentbaša areas on the day of her disappearance.

Despite intensive efforts in recent days, today's search unfortunately resulted in the discovery of the lifeless body.

In addition to our members within the Civil Protection Service of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, we were assisted in the search by the Police Administration Novi Grad Sarajevo with the Criminal Offenses Department, Police Administration Stari Grad, GSS Trebević and other GSS of Sarajevo Canton, Public Institution for Protected Areas of Sarajevo Canton, media, relatives, and friends.
