Reconstruction of pipeline on part of Hasana Bibera Street completed

In mid-July this year, the utility company "Vodovod i kanalizacija" submitted a report to the Department for Spatial Planning and Communal Affairs of the Centar Municipality on the works carried out on the reconstruction of part of the water supply pipeline in Hasana Bibera Street (Local Community "Donji Velešići"), reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

According to this report, at the beginning of the works, after marking the underground installations of utility connections, a temporary water supply network was installed, to which the surrounding residential buildings were connected. After laying 110 meters of new water supply network, the utility company "Vodovod i kanalizacija" performed flushing of the new pipeline and took a water sample for the preparation of a certificate on satisfactory water quality.

Geodetic surveying of the new pipeline was also carried out, and it was entered into the cadastre of underground installations. The Centar Municipality allocated  23,400 KM from its budget for this project.

In addition to the mentioned project, based on a signed contract with the Centar Municipality as the financier, the reconstruction of the pipeline with the remediation of the drainage channel in Šejh Juje Street in Sedrenik was also completed, for which the Centar Municipality allocated an amount of nearly 31,000 KM.

The works at the mentioned locations were carried out based on an agreement signed by representatives of the Centar Municipality and KJKP "Vodovod i kanalizacija" on co-financing works on the reconstruction and remediation of the water supply and sewage system in the area of the Centar Municipality, reports Patria.
