First phase of Vidikovac construction completed

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The construction of the Vidikovac facility is one of the most important investment projects of the City of Sarajevo this year. After the first phase was completed, construction is entering its final phase. The Mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka, points out that Trebević is currently the most visited picnic area in Sarajevo.

"When we said we would build a new cable car to Trebević, many did not believe we would succeed. When we finished it, they said it wasn't enough and that Trebević needed facilities. Now that the first phase is completed, and the final part of the construction and renovation of another symbol of Sarajevo is ahead of us, we are once again confirming that we are working systematically, planned, and fulfilling what we promised," said Skaka.

According to him, with the construction of the new Vidikovac, an important symbol is being returned to the City, an investment cycle is being completed, and new jobs are being created. All from the funds earned by the Public Company Sarajevo d.o.o. We have returned Trebević to the city, we have returned Sarajevans to Trebević. We are returning the City's symbols. Why are symbols important to us?

By renewing the city's symbols, we preserve our identity. Our ID card. We are renewing a part of ourselves and building the future. And not only that. Everything we do and build – we build to be self-sustaining, profitable, and to be the foundation for the continued development of the City. We built the Cable Car – it is now building Vidikovac and the Bistrica station. From the City Hall, we made the best and most profitable museum space – it is now building the Vidikovac hotel. Tomorrow, this Vidikovac hotel may build the most beautiful ski slope in the Balkans and be the foundation for an even larger development project," the Mayor stated.

It is planned that the facility will be opened by the end of the year, and in addition to a restaurant and conference hall, it will also feature a children's playroom. However, perhaps the most attractive will be the panoramic roof offering the most beautiful view of the city.
