Around 30 ZOI '84 employees locked themselves in Zetra premises until authorities resolve their issues

Around 30 employees of the state-owned company ZOI '84 locked themselves today in the Zetra premises, where they will remain until the company's management resolves the issue of salaries and contributions for social and health insurance for around 180 employees, reports the reporter of the BH News Agency Patria.

Employees of this promising state-owned company have not received ten salaries, and according to them, they have not had a director for some time, as the previous director of this company, Džemal Bisić, resigned.
The employees are asking the KS Government to put pressure on the ZOI '84 Assembly, which is supposed to appoint a new Supervisory Board, which will then appoint a new director.

Around 50 employees gathered in front of the Sarajevo Canton Government building from the morning. Only the KS Minister of Economy, Emir Hrenovica, spoke with them.

Hrenovica blamed the company's management for the current situation in ZOI '84. Currently, he says, there are around 2.5 million marks in the ZOI '84 account, intended for capital investments, but there is no one to manage that money because the company has no director.

- I tried last night to contact the president of the ZOI '84 Assembly, which is supposed to appoint the supervisory board that appoints the director, but Mr. Hubijar is not answering his phone, I cannot contact him – said Hrenovica. He asked the employees to be patient and said he would try to influence the resolution of the company's problems.

The employees decided to lock themselves in the Zetra hall until the authorities resolve their problems, reports the Patria reporter.
