(Patria) - The Chairman of the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton, Elvedin Okerić, adjourned the session of the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton after all agenda items had been exhausted and when representatives were supposed to vote.

However, at that moment, as seen in the recording from the session, there was an insufficient number of representatives in the hall of the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton, especially from the ruling parties. Thus, at that time, only Elvedin Okerić and Danijela Kristić were present from the NIP Club, while the front row of benches where NIP representatives sit was empty. From the SDP, four representatives were present, and three representatives from Naša stranka.

It is evident that today there was no intention to adopt the legal solutions and decisions on the agenda, as it was clear throughout the day that the parties of the Troika did not have the 18 votes needed to pass decisions.

Okerić announced that the voting on the agenda items would be held at a later date.

Incidentally, today's session was marked by a debate on the Law on Communal Police, which envisions the employment of around 140 communal police officers and inspectors, with the start of operations of the Administration for Communal Affairs planned for the beginning of 2027.
