Okerić: It wasn't me, it was my Schauma!

(Patria) - Today's press conference organized by the Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly Elvedin Okerić was his failed attempt to justify to the public evidence of budget financing of associations close to his ruling party, People and Justice.

This is the position of the Party of Democratic Action, which states: "In a pathetic lamentation before the cameras, Okerić repeated that he only attended award ceremonies, that the funds were not allocated by the Speaker, but by his cabinet, that the associations do not belong to NiP, but are led by local presidents and founders of NiP. "In the party operation of distributing public money, Okerić presents himself as a passerby and claims that the commission is chosen by the chief of staff, that the procedure is clear, as is the evaluation of applications. However, he fails to explain how, despite this transparency, budget money still ends up in the hands of his party colleagues. He also says that it would not occur to him to count the lineage of returnees, citing the example of financing an association connected with SDA activists. However, Okerić avoids explaining how that association received half the funds compared to the association founded by his party colleague Adnan Delić, who promotes it from the position of minister", emphasize SDA.

They add that at the end of his "unconvincing lamentation, Okerić stated that he bases his work on good intentions, as if he were a NiP humanitarian activist, and not the Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly. Instead of his intentions, Okerić should implement the law, which he, as a multiple, convicted accomplice in adopting unconstitutional legal regulations of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, obviously does not understand".
