Okerić has not yet scheduled the continuation of the KS Assembly on the security situation

(Patria) - The Speaker of the KS Assembly, Elvedin Okerić, has not yet scheduled the continuation of the emergency session of the KS Assembly on the security situation, which began on March 29.

After the introductory remarks by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Police Commissioner of the Sarajevo Canton MUP Police Administration, the Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Education and Science of Sarajevo Canton, and the Ministry of Justice and Administration, questions from the deputies and the KS Security Commission followed.

Given the large number of questions posed by the deputies, answers will be provided at the continuation of the session.

On the night between Sunday and Monday, an explosive device was activated in front of the house of the Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality, Irfan Čenagić.

A few days earlier, an explosive device was also thrown into the street where a municipal and city councilor of the same municipality lives.

What was highlighted at the session itself was the penal policy towards perpetrators of criminal offenses, meaning that these penalties do not affect the perpetrators nor deter them from committing criminal offenses.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of KS requested changes to legal solutions so that repeat offenders in traffic violations can be more adequately sanctioned and that a special criminal offense of reckless driving be introduced.
