Ogrešević: Closing of Hadžin Potok Border Crossing for International Traffic is Politically Motivated

(Patria) - Since this morning, international passenger traffic has not been allowed at the Hadžin Potok border crossing, only border traffic. After this caused large crowds and passenger delays, the president of NES, Nermin Ogrešević, and the mayor of Cazin reacted.

He considers this decision to be extremely unfair, unjust, and arrogant, and it has caused outrage and dissatisfaction among all citizens of this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is completely justified.

"I believe this decision is exclusively politically motivated and malicious, considering that this is the only border crossing being closed while border crossings are being opened and put into operation in other parts of the country: Imotica - Duži, Jovića Most - Čitluk, and Sebišina - Drinovci.

The Una-Sana Canton definitely has the largest diaspora, and we already have huge problems with long waits and delays at border crossings. By abolishing another one, this problem is further exacerbated and creates unforeseeable consequences.

We will loudly and decisively insist with all responsible parties on the abolition of such a decision, and it will certainly not be accepted in silence. The citizens of this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina do not deserve such treatment, and no one can deny us that," stated Ogrešević.
