Ogrešević: It's time for a response, a nation that does not fight for its country will not have one

(Patria) - Dodik, Čović, and the leaders of the 'Trojka' yesterday confirmed the agreement from Bakinci, stated Nermin Ogrešević, president of the People's European Alliance of BiH.

"This very dangerous agreement and the intention to remove foreign judges from the Constitutional Court of BiH, about which Dodik spoke with excitement, represents a state of emergency into which the leaders of the 'Trojka' have led us, which entails the engagement of all state-building political entities to prevent the collapse and protect the structure of the Constitutional Court as the most important institution that preserves the constitutional and legal order of our Homeland.

Čović boasted that amendments to the Election Law of BiH will be adopted according to his proposal, with which he is introducing apartheid, different vote values, and legitimate representation in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The leaders of the 'Trojka' are listening to all of this and not denying it, but rather, like obedient students, confirming that they will strive to fulfill all the stated wishes of their partners through work in working groups with concrete solutions," Ogrešević states.

In order not to displease their partners, Ogrešević points out, they do not even mention the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in power.

"It is noticeable that Dodik is satisfied and further emboldened. He announced that his wishes will also be fulfilled, so that in April, foreign judges from the Constitutional Court of BiH could be expelled, thus finally gaining control over the only institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina that hinders him in his secessionist aspirations.

The 'Trojka' is playing the card of daily politics: 'Adopt any laws now, to tell voters that we will be in the EU soon, and if someone pressures you, add - maybe in 10-20 years'.

The majority of Bosniaks, but also patriots of BiH of all nationalities and religions, Bosnians and Herzegovinians from all three peoples, perceive such announcements with fear. And not for the first time.

The balance of fear has long been disturbed. Secessionists from the BiH entity of RS and proponents of a third entity from the Croatian people have long been in a dominant role. They instill fear in the far more numerous pro-European, state-building citizens of BiH, who only want to live in a European, democratic, orderly, and advanced Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Is it time to change the balance of fear? For separatists to also start fearing that they will lose the little ground they consider theirs, which they have taken by committing genocide, war crimes, and expulsions? Yes!

The 'Trojka' is merely a continuation of passive, fearful, and non-state-building policy, which has been on the defensive for years against aggressive policies that are destructive to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Given that Dodik is setting ultimatums "by April" to fulfill his wishes, announcing a commotion, it is the right time to tell him that this time we are more prepared for "April" in every sense.

Because a nation that is not ready to fight for its country will not have one," Ogrešević states.
