(Patria) - Anyone who doubted that Milorad Dodik would get his way when information first emerged that he was pressuring coalition partners to award the purchase of the UIO BiH building in Banja Luka to Mile Radišić, a businessman close to the SNSD leader, has realised these days how politically naive they were.
This was stated by the president of the People's European Union, Nermin Ogrešević, adding: "The offer arrived, the only one, of course from Radišić's company, and as expected, the value is 100 million marks."
"They settled on the parking lot, whose price per square metre equals that of commercial space. Dodik obviously has no problem achieving all his goals. The question is, apart from the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is the next target, i.e., the budget of which state institution. Should we doubt that Dodik will also implement his remaining goals? Given the 'compromise' stance of their coalition partners, the Troika, unfortunately, we should not!" Ogrešević emphasises.
The NES president stresses that there are not many reactions to the 100 million KM for Dodik's Radišić.
"Bosniak representatives in the government consider it more important to pressure the opposition in order to fulfil another of Čović's wishes and appoint Marina Vukoja to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They do not see the intimidation of returnees in the RS, they trivialise the celebration of the unconstitutional Day of the RS, they do not hear Vučić's infamous messages… just like a good part of the Bosnian public, which until then amuses itself with analyses by NiP's Sabina Silajdžić and her attempts to equate January 9, the unconstitutional day of the BiH entity RS, with March 1, Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our wits are well and truly stretched. Anyone who thinks that foreigners will forever guard our backs while our heads are buried in the sand is mistaken," Ogrešević concluded.
