BPK MoI Announces Emir Curo Murdered, Two Arrested on Suspicion of Involvement

(Patria) - The Ministry of Internal Affairs of BPK-Goražde has confirmed that Emir Curo (52) was murdered, and two individuals are undergoing criminal processing on suspicion of involvement in the murder.

To recall, the body of Emir Curo, with visible injuries to the upper part of his body, was found in a family house in the village of Raškovići a few days ago. By order and in the presence of the prosecutor, police officers of the BPK-Goražde MoI conducted an investigation, and an autopsy was performed on the body of the deceased.

- In order to more effectively shed light on all the circumstances under which E.C.'s death occurred, the Police Directorate of the BPK-Goražde MoI requested expert assistance from colleagues from the Police Directorate of the Sarajevo Canton MoI on 07.11.2024.

In the evening hours of 08.11.2024, a joint team of investigators from the two Police Directorates identified two men who are reasonably suspected of being linked to the commission of the criminal offense of Murder (Article 166 of the Criminal Code of FBiH) to the detriment of E.C. Criminal processing is currently being carried out on them in the official premises of the Police Directorate of the BPK-Goražde MoI.

The acting prosecutor has issued orders for the execution of several evidentiary actions – expert examinations, which will be carried out, among others, by experts from the Federal Police Administration. After the criminal processing, the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of BPK-Goražde will decide on the status of the suspects - it was announced from the Police Directorate of the BPK MoI.
