Holding NSRS session on March 1 another message from RS that they do not recognize BiH Independence Day

By scheduling a regular session of the National Assembly of RS for today, the authorities of the smaller BiH entity are demonstrating in yet another way their non-recognition and disregard of March 1, BiH Independence Day, writes the Patria news agency.

Today's session is not attended by deputies of the Homeland Coalition, who earlier announced their absence as they will attend the celebration of March 1.

Recently, a media campaign has intensified, in which all politicians coming from the smaller BiH entity seek to equate March 1 and January 9, with messages that BiH Independence Day offends them.

Let us recall, on March 1, 1992, a referendum was held in which 99 percent of citizens, out of 64.31 percent who turned out to vote, declared themselves for an independent Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among those who then voted for an independent and sovereign state was a large number of Serbs, which is now consciously and strategically being silenced.

Precisely based on the results of that referendum, on April 6, 1992, the European Community recognized BiH as an independent and sovereign state, and a day later the US did the same.

And on January 9, 1992, due to which the now, according to the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, illegal Day of RS is celebrated, the bloody campaign in this country was officially and institutionally launched.
