(Patria) - The Presidency of the Democratic Front held its regular session today in Sarajevo. The session discussed the current political situation and adopted a series of conclusions:
- We call on and encourage all member states of the United Nations to adopt the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica at the General Assembly. This is the UN's debt to all innocent victims of the adjudicated crime of genocide in Srebrenica. In this regard, we welcome the efforts and endeavors of the entire team of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UN to place this issue at the focus of the work of the UN General Assembly.
- We call on the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, to immediately annul the shameful decision to change the names of streets in Srebrenica, among which are those of Chetnik leaders, which represents a clear message of hatred towards the survivors of the Srebrenica genocide and returnees to Srebrenica and the Republika Srpska.
- The Troika continues today with activities to deliver to the HDZ the judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marin Vukoja. They removed the member of the Commission for Selection and Appointment from the DF, and have now very consciously and deliberately created all the preconditions for this commission to submit only the name of Marin Vukoja to the House of Representatives of the Federation of BiH. The DF is categorically and consistently opposed to this proposal.
- The Troika has halted Bosnia and Herzegovina's NATO path in this mandate. They did not adopt or send to NATO headquarters the Reform Program (ANP) for 2023, nor did they prepare one for 2024. Let us recall that the previous government, in the 2018-2022 mandate, adopted and submitted to NATO the ANP for three years. In the same period, Bosnia and Herzegovina was also included in the Membership Action Plan (MAP), which is the penultimate step towards full membership.
- We call on the state authorities to finally submit the Budget of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024 to the procedure via the Council of Ministers of BiH. Given that the Budget is still not in the procedure, the Law on Financing of Institutions of BiH has been violated in the part that all deadlines for adopting the state budget for 2024 have been missed.
- The Troika's policy of so-called compromise has led to a policy of dismantling the state by their partners in government. The policy of yielding all strategic positions in the areas of finance and security, and handing over the fourth delegate in the House of Peoples to the SNSD, have led us to the point where the SNSD continues to take all actions that are against the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It now does this by establishing parallel structures, such as the electoral process, which undermine overall security and stability.
The session also discussed the preparations of the Democratic Front for the 2024 Local Elections, in which the Democratic Front will participate at full capacity throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, offering citizens quality personnel and a program for precisely solving the problems of local communities.
