Promotion of poetry collection 'Bosnian Land' by student Mirnes Omerović held

This week, in the packed hall of the Multimedia Center of the Ilidža Municipality, a promotion was held for the poetry collection "Bosnian Land" by author Mirnes Omerović, an eighth-grade student of the Tenth Elementary School Ilidža, published by the Association of Lecturers and Communicologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The promotion was organized by the Children's Club of the Association of Lecturers and Communicologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Tenth Elementary School, whose students enriched the event with poems, recitals, and performances.

In addition to the author, the book was discussed by Nermina Alihodžić Usejnovski, editor, and Aiša Sadiković, reviewer. The promoters highlighted the poet's unusual talent for composing free verse, as well as the seriousness of the theme, such as patriotism. In his speech, the poet particularly addressed patriotism as his main inspiration and sent a message to young people "to stay, not to leave, because the homeland is one, you love it and endure the pain for it."

In addition to the promoters, the gathering was also addressed by Refik Dacić, principal of the Tenth Elementary School, who spoke about the support the school provides to all talented students in all fields, and Resul Alić, who spoke about the meaning of life, which is also the subject of some poems in the collection.
