Promotion of Ingrid Divković's book "Is Your Ego F***ing You?" Held

The promotion of the first book by Croatian writer and blogger Ingrid Divković, provocatively titled 'Is Your Ego F***ing You?', was held at the Buybook bookstore in Sarajevo on Wednesday evening, reports the BH news agency Patria.

The autobiographical debut of the young woman from Rijeka with Bosnian roots, which first intrigued Croatia and then neighboring countries, led Ingrid on a Balkan tour that concluded precisely at Sarajevo's Buybook, the publisher of the 3rd edition of the popular book.

The book, which is being talked about throughout the region, has won the hearts of the masses with its direct style and intimacy that quickly develops between the author and the reader, thanks to the author's willingness to bare her young and turbulent micro-world and her fresh, unique wordplay.

Guests at the promotion, Alis Marić, owner of the portal Čitaj knjigu from Zagreb, and Lada Jurković, Director of Buybook Zagreb, spoke about the 'miracle called Ingrid' and the love for books that brought together this small group of enthusiasts.

- Nothing is unattainable, everything is attainable because even the impossible knocks on the door once - the writer repeated the epilogue of her autobiographical book about the fight against an unhealthy ego that accompanies the new era today.

- When you write in the Balkans, when you are a woman, and a young woman at that, you cannot just publish a book and achieve some success unless you write about fashion, about clothes, about handbags and such things... I am not personally interested in that because I am not part of that world. I like to emphasize this because people have prejudices, so when they see me, they think I run a fashion blog - the writer reveals.

Ingrid is already preparing her second book and continues to inspire her fans daily with original quotes and comments she posts on her blog and social networks.

The packed Buybook confirmed that the love for books does not wane despite the market being flooded with digital and electronic editions.
