Constituent session of Ilidža Municipal Council held, leadership elected

(Patria) - At the constituent session of the Ilidža Municipal Council, held today in the Multipurpose Hall of the Ilidža Municipality, elected councilors accepted their mandates and took the solemn oath.

Tarik Stambolić was elected Chairman of the Ilidža Municipal Council, a role he also held in the previous term. By secret ballot, the Deputy Chairpersons of the Municipal Council, Selver Zećirović and Amar Bungur, were also elected.

The Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, congratulated the newly elected leadership of the Municipal Council, all councilors, and wished them a successful term in the interest of all citizens of the Ilidža municipality.

- To all councilors who accepted the mandates, I wish four years of successful work aimed at improving living conditions in our local community. I sincerely hope that through our joint work, the greatest benefit will be felt by the citizens of the Ilidža municipality and the Ilidža Municipality itself. I also take this opportunity to congratulate the Chairman and Deputy Chairpersons of the Municipal Council on their election and believe they will make a significant contribution, together with all of us, to be as successful as possible in the coming period. Finally, I sincerely hope and wish that this term will be better for all of us than the previous one - said the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, expressing his wish that Ilidža remains among the most successful local communities in our country.



In the Local Elections held on October 6, 2024, 31 councilors from six political parties were elected to the Ilidža Municipal Council. The People and Justice party won 11 mandates, one less than the Party of Democratic Action, while the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina will have four councilors in the Ilidža Municipal Council over the next four years, and Our Party three. Two mandates went to SBiH - Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina and one to the Democratic Front.

The new convocation of the Ilidža Municipal Council includes: Tarik Stambolić, Admir Muzur, Nermina Memić, Munir Drkić, Edis Vreto, Edita Turković, Nusret Baždar, Nejra Turudija, Anela Kapidžić, Faruk Lihovac, Zumra Ahmetović (NiP), Damir Laličić, Denis Muhović, Amel Pintol, Amina Ibrahimović-Mahmutović, Berina Gibanica, Alma Muratović, Mirnes Omerović, Alen Marić, Alisa Lekić, Nedim Delić (SDA), Adisa Divoš, Samir Habota, Selver Zećirović, Azra Pohara (SDP), Amar Bungur, Azra Jahić, Mersudin Šeho (NS), Eman Vukotić, Nedžad Tinjak (SBiH) and Nijaz Suljić (DF).
