Support rally for a unified Bosnia and Herzegovina held in Stuttgart

(Patria) - A large number of citizens originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered today at Marienplatz square in Stuttgart to show support for a unified Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Those gathered brought with them state symbols such as the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as banners on which they wrote, among other things, that they support a unified Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it is a country for all citizens.

The Citizens' Initiative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which organized these protests, stated that they are raising their voices against attempts to dissolve the homeland and negative developments in and around Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We are sending a message that all citizens and friends are for peace, tolerance, democracy and prosperity, and against war, conflict and divisions into national camps. The state of Bosnia and Herzegovina belongs to its citizens, not to party leaders, that the rule of law must function and that state issues should be resolved in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” they said from the Citizens' Initiative of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The rally was also addressed by Josip Juratović, a member of the SPD in the Bundestag. He said that the Bundestag is absolutely in favor of the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, against any secession, and for building a just society.
