20th Traditional Bajram Tournament for Persons with Disabilities Held

With the awarding of cups, medals, and special prizes, the 20th traditional Bajram tournament and the 2nd Safet Hadžić memorial tournament in shooting, chess, table tennis, and darts for persons with disabilities concluded yesterday, reports the BH News Agency Patria.  

More than a hundred competitors from all disability associations of Sarajevo Canton, as well as from Živinice, Tuzla, and Maglaj, participated in the most massive tournament to date.

The first place in table tennis was won by the team of the SRI Novi Grad Association, the second place went to the team of the SRI Stari Grad Association, and the third place was taken by the Novi Grad II team. The best individuals are: Kasim Cerić, Muris Kujović, and Munib Kadrić.

In shooting, the first place was taken by the SIK Tuzla team, the second by the SKI Maglaj shooters, and the third by the representatives of SSK Konjuh from Živinice. The best individuals are: Izudin Husanović, Mirsad Hasić, and Hajro Bečić.

In chess, the first place was won by the representatives of SRI Stari Grad, the second by SRI Novi Grad, and the third by SRI Ilidža. In the individual competition, the best are: Salih Hasković, Rasim Zuko, and Zlatko Miladinović.

In the darts discipline for women, the team first place was won by the SRI Vogošća team, the second by SRI Novi Grad, and the third by SKI Tuzla. In the individual competition, the best are: Hata  Džinić, Kristina Veljović, and Hasna Hamzić.

The best teams and individuals were awarded cups, medals, and diplomas.

The tournament was organized by the SRI Association of Novi Grad Municipality, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, Novi Grad Municipality, and Stari Grad Municipality, reports Patria.
