Landslide: Traffic halted on the Sarajevo-Trnovo road

Due to a major landslide on the roadway, traffic has been halted on the M-18 main road Sarajevo-Trnovo in the village of Bogatići. Road service crews are on the ground working on clearing, BIHAMK reported, as carried by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

On other roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is moving on mostly wet pavement. No longer delays have been recorded, and vehicle frequency is of lower intensity. Due to rainfall and melting snow, the danger of landslides or rocks on the roadway is increased, so we call on drivers to exercise increased caution.

- We appeal for driving adjusted to road conditions and remind that possession of winter equipment is mandatory for all categories of vehicles.

On the A-1 motorway, traffic is moving without restrictions on a partly wet pavement.
