Odović officially becomes head coach of FK Željezničar

FK Željezničar has officially got a new head of the professional staff. After it was agreed due to N/FSBiH regulations regarding licenses that Admir Adžem would continue his previous successful work in the youth academy, and that the position of head of the first team would be temporarily taken over by the long-time coach of the Club, Almir Memić, today the professional staff was completed by establishing cooperation with Milomir Odović, it was announced from Željezničar.

This will be the second time that the former midfielder leads the first team from Grbavica.

Milomir Odović was born in 1955, and his first football steps are linked to Sloga from Ilijaš. However, as a junior, he moved to Željezničar. He made his debut for the first team in the 1974/1975 season, after which he quickly secured a place in the starting lineup. Playing for our club until 1985, Odović made 262 official appearances, scoring 25 goals. After that, he played for Austrian clubs VÖEST Linz and Spittal, and ended his career at Bosna from Visoko. However, he remained in football as a coach. At Željezničar, he was a member of the professional staff that won several trophies at the beginning of this century, and he got the opportunity to lead the first team independently in the autumn of 2004. He led the team until the end of that season and achieved a record of 16 wins and four draws and losses in 24 matches.
