LET'S REST IN BiH: Jablaničko Lake - where vacation means more

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After the story about the possibilities and beauties of Boračko Lake, it would make no sense not to continue the journey through Bosnia's pleasant and suitable-for-rest beauties at Jablaničko Lake. 

If you have already decided to listen to us and spend part of your vacation enjoying Boračko Lake, then we wholeheartedly recommend that you spend the second part of your vacation here, about 30 kilometers further, at the reservoir Jablaničko Lake. 

Jablaničko Lake is an old Bosnian destination for people from Sarajevo, Konjic, Mostar and others. It stretches between Konjic and Jablanica along the M-17 road. 

 

 

It will take you only an hour from Sarajevo to this pleasant region for eyes and soul, suitable for a family vacation. The distance is similar from the direction of Mostar. 

In the flood of snobbery for destinations frequented by the jet set, we forgot what is right before our eyes and stopped appreciating all the benefits of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The coronavirus crisis came as a kind of reset of our desires and possibilities, so whether we like it or not, we must turn to what we have. 

But don't worry. We have a lot. And Jablaničko Lake with all its surroundings is just one in a series of destinations where we can have a great time while spending half as much. 

The season opened on June 29, delayed due to weather and coronavirus circumstances, but there is still plenty of time to enjoy the beaches, clean water and other offerings of Jablaničko Lake. 

There are enough accommodation capacities right by the lake or a bit further away. It is superfluous to talk about the gastronomic offer, because anyone who has once passed by Jablaničko knows what I am talking about. 

The beaches have been maintained during the off-season and are ready for new swimmers, so you have no reason to worry there either.
