Decisions from the regular session of the BiH Presidency

(Patria) - The BiH Presidency at today's session took note of the Information from the BiH Ministry of Defence on the declaration of forces in the UN Peace Operations Capability Readiness System (PCRS).

The BiH Presidency gave its consent to the BiH Ministry of Defence to, in accordance with United Nations procedures, send a verbal note describing the contribution to PCRS.

The BiH Presidency tasked the BiH Ministry of Defence to, in cooperation with the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs, undertake measures and actions within its jurisdiction to declare the aforementioned contribution through the UN Peace Operations Capability Readiness System and to create conditions for their eventual deployment in United Nations peacekeeping operations, upon the adoption of a Decision by the BiH Presidency, and in accordance with legally defined procedures.

The BiH Presidency adopted a Decision on the destruction of ammunition and explosive ordnance of the Armed Forces of BiH.

The BiH Presidency tasked the BiH Ministry of Defence to, within the prescribed procedures and methods of destruction, and by implementing international agreements, contracts, and decisions accepted by the competent institutions of BiH, destroy quantities of defective/unsafe ammunition and explosive ordnance identified as such after control and technical inspections at LSM "Kula", within or outside the defence system capacities.

The BiH Presidency adopted the Report on the Execution of the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023, which will be submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The BiH Presidency adopted the Report on the Work of the BiH Commission for Refugees and Displaced Persons for 2023.

The BiH Presidency took note of the address by the Supervisor for Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the issue of the blockade of the work of the BiH Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments and its detrimental consequences for investment projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The BiH Presidency demands that the members of the Commission provide their views on the Supervisor's findings and allegations, on the reasons for the blockade and obstruction of the work of the BiH Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments, and to submit written statements to the BiH Presidency within 30 days from the date of entry into force of this conclusion.
