Decision of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly: Tanja Fajon honorary citizen of Sarajevo Canton

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton Assembly unanimously adopted a decision at today's session to award the charter "Honorary Citizen of Sarajevo Canton" to Tanja Fajon, a member of the European Parliament (EP). 

This charter is awarded for "exceptional merits in spreading the truth about events in BiH and developing international relations based on the principles of solidarity, democracy and tolerance among people of different nations, religions and cultures". 

At today's session, the Sarajevo Canton Assembly verified the decision of the Committee for Public Recognitions of Sarajevo Canton to award the Canton plaque to deserving individuals and institutions in the fields of culture, education, science, economy, and social engagement to Jasna Diklić, Bibija Kerla, Muhamed Pilav, the company Sinkrom Sarajevo, and posthumously to Professor Emeritus Zdravko Grebo.
