The FBiH Government today unanimously rejected the request to repeal the Decision on the appointment of the interim Board of Directors of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, submitted by a lawyer from Sarajevo, Emir Hasić. He is the legal representative of the employees of the National Museum of BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
The Government gave its full support to the activities of the interim Board of Directors of the National Museum of BiH, headed by renowned BiH director Haris Pašović, and continues to insist that the museum must be opened as soon as possible, as it is the property of all citizens of BiH and those who wish to see its impressive collection.
The fact that, at this moment, the national treasure and national monument in the National Museum are not safe was particularly emphasized, reports NAP.
We remind you that the National Museum has been closed to the public since October 2012. Although numerous institutions and organizations have appealed for its status to be finally resolved and for it to be opened, this has not happened to date.
