The passing of Professor Grebo is a loss for Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The death of the professor at the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo and a respected BiH intellectual, Zdravko Grebo, has today affected all those who knew the professor and had the opportunity to learn from him, work with him, and exchange views on politics, the state of society, and the future of BiH.

The president of Our Party, Predrag Kojović, said goodbye to his professor on his Facebook profile with an emotional status in which he summarizes their acquaintance, and then their friendship.

- In the early eighties, he was both an intellectual and human role model for me. As a young student at the Faculty of Law, I looked up to him as something unreal, mythical. I absorbed his every word and gesture like a sponge - and tried, unsuccessfully, to imitate him. My greatest youthful desire was to be like Zdravko. After my freshman years, I had the honor of getting to know him well and becoming friends. I spent a lot of time traveling and talking with him. That time significantly, formatively, influenced me in both human and political terms. His character, knowledge, and way of thinking about Bosnia have significantly shaped my worldview. The loss is irreparable. His mark on me is indelible. The sadness is immense. Farewell forever, my dear prof - Kojović wrote.

His friends, public figures, and citizens also said goodbye to Grebo on Twitter today. Actor Nermin Tulić, after hearing about the death of his friend, wrote that the best are leaving. He particularly recalled May 2, 1992, and Professor Grebo's speech about the horrors of war that Sarajevo was going through.

Director Dino Mustafić wrote that a man who was a role model for how one can live with honor and principle has passed away.

Numerous citizens also said goodbye to Professor Grebo, emphasizing that he genuinely loved BiH and was a tireless fighter for justice and a better society for all of us.
