Response to Izetbegović: Those who place weak people in important positions are working against the SDA and the state!

Following yesterday's press conference of the SDA, the quartet from the BiH Parliament Salko Sokolović, Sadik Ahmetović, Šemsudin Mehmedović and Senad Šepić reacted, writes the Patria news agency.

- Not wanting to enter into a detailed analysis and the presented views, we feel called to react to the statement of President Bakir Izetbegović: ''If the people from this quartet do not continue to cause problems for the party or this country, it is understood that they will be on the lists, because these are people who received a large number of votes''. 

For the sake of the public and the SDA membership, we want to clearly tell President Izetbegović that we completely reject and condemn the comment according to which we are people who have caused and are causing problems for the party and especially the state. 

Such a scandalous statement, in fact, only confirms the justification of our struggle and advocacy for the political principles we publicly speak about. It is not the first time that the President of the Party has made unfounded and sweeping statements about our work, but this statement is simply a shameful provocation that we must not remain silent about.

Therefore, we call on the President of the SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, to publicly withdraw such serious qualifications or to tell the public what specifically and by which of our moves we have so far ''caused problems for the party or the state''... What is it that is harmful to the SDA or the state of BiH that we have done so far?

We are not a PROBLEM for the SDA if we seek reform of the party and fight for political principles, and this should be accepted by every well-intentioned citizen of BiH, especially every member of the SDA, and most of all the President of the Party because he is the most responsible.

Those who place weak people, connected by interest and family ties, in important positions in the state, and who, due to their own autism and unwillingness to build a strong party and its state-building position of equal opportunities and treatment throughout BiH, do not know how to protect the interest of either the people or the state of BiH from the frequent attacks by Dodik, and often also by Čović, are working against the SDA and the state. 

That is what our public sees, just as it sees and knows who runs this country and who is most responsible for the situation we are in. And we have shown through our work so far that we know how to protect the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and thus the SDA, which we are doing through our public activities and actions in the BiH Parliament - the reaction states.
