The trial of Dragoje Zmijanjac for a crime committed in the Prijedor area was postponed at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina because Zmijanjac did not appear in court. His defense attorney Nebojša Pantić said that Zmijanjac informed him that he had health problems.
Presiding Judge of the Trial Chamber Minka Kreho told the Defense to submit medical findings.
Zmijanjac is charged with killing a civilian of Bosniak nationality on July 24, 1992, as a member of an unidentified military, police, or paramilitary formation.
The continuation of the trial is scheduled for September 26, BIRN reported, as carried by Patria.
