SARAJevo, (Patria) - A man who was in self-isolation in Istria died last night, reports Glas Istre.
This is a person from the Brtonigla area, but it has not yet been confirmed whether the death was caused by coronavirus infection, given that the deceased was not tested for coronavirus because he had mild symptoms.
Complications and death occurred overnight.
The director of the Public Health Institute of Istria County, Aleksandar Stojanović, said that the man had previously refused hospitalization and remained at home in self-isolation.
This is an elderly person.
"Whether this case is a death due to coronavirus or not, we cannot say yet. Swabs have been taken, and when the results arrive, we will know more," said Stojanović.
