Milorad Dodik's request for judge Ćosić-Dedović's recusal rejected

(Patria) - The General Council of the Court of BiH, at a session held today, decided to reject the request of Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, for the recusal of judge Jasmina Ćosić-Dedović.

Milorad Dodik requested her recusal due to doubts about her impartiality, but all 30 judges with voting rights were against this decision.

From today, the deadline for confirming or rejecting the indictment against Milorad Dodik for non-compliance with the decisions of the High Representative Christian Schmidt begins to run.

The Court of BiH had previously returned the indictment for revision, which the BiH Prosecutor's Office did within the legal deadline and submitted the revised indictment to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
