Proposal to dismiss Mayor Skaka rejected

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Sarajevo City Council today rejected the initiative to initiate the dismissal of Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka, submitted by councilor Denis Stojnić.

Two-thirds of the councilors voted against this initiative, thereby rejecting the claims submitted in the request. During the debate, councilors from Our Party supported the initiative.

Mayor Skaka emphasized on this occasion that he has been successfully working with the City Council on projects of interest to citizens for over three years.

"Almost all decisions and our proposals are adopted unanimously or by a two-thirds majority, which confirms that there is a strong synergy and mutual respect between the City Council and the City Administration. I want to thank the councilors for their support in rejecting the politicking of Our Party. We continue to work, and the best is yet to come," said Skaka.
