From tomorrow, three newly acquired buses on the Ilidža - Tarčin - Vukovići line

(Patria) - The Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton provided financial support to KJKP GRAS for the purchase of five SCANIA buses.

Three buses have been delivered, and the Minister of Transport of KS Adnan Šteta and the director of KJKP GRAS Senad Mujagić visited the depot where the buses are currently located.

The remaining two buses will be delivered in the coming days.

Based on the analysis of the situation on the ground, it was decided that these buses will operate on the longest cantonal line Ilidža - Tarčin - Vukovići. The buses will start operating from tomorrow.



- Every municipality is equally important to us, and we show that year after year. One of the biggest challenges on the ground was maintaining the line from Ilidža to Vukovići. We monitor all the challenges on the ground that both passengers and drivers face, and we strive to resolve them all.

It is not always easy, but we are succeeding in our goals for quality public transport in every part of our canton - stated Minister Šteta.

These buses will replace old EURO 2 buses, which did not have adequate capacity and were not of good quality.

The buses that will start operating from tomorrow are EURO 6, equipped with modern equipment, adapted for people with disabilities, and have a passenger capacity of 148 places with 49 seats.
