Classes to begin in Jablanica schools on Monday

(Patria) - The Jablanica Municipal Civil Protection Headquarters has issued an order that, where possible, regular classes in primary and secondary schools will resume on Monday, October 21.

For students who are unable to attend, classes will be organized online.

At the session of the Municipal Civil Protection Headquarters, it was stated that all available machinery and personnel are engaged in damage remediation, i.e., clearing the terrain and providing assistance to the affected population.

Numerous road communications in the Jablanica area remain conditionally passable, and all available resources are constantly working to restore road communications that have suffered extensive damage.

Catastrophic floods hit the Herzegovina-Neretva and Central Bosnia cantons on the night between October 3 and 4. In the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, 24 people lost their lives.
