We demand from Komšić to address Samardžija with a request to remove the cross

The Collegium of the City Council of Sarajevo, at today's extraordinary session convened due to the recent events related to the placement of the cross at Zlatište, adopted four conclusions, reports the BH News Agency Patria. 

1.The City of Sarajevo is against the abuse of religious symbols for pre-election political purposes, with the aim of provoking the families of victims of violence and aggression against the citizens of Sarajevo, which was carried out from the place where the cross was erected.

2.The Mayor of the City of Sarajevo is requested to address the Mayor of the City of East Sarajevo (Nenad Samardžija, op.a.) with a request to remove the illegally erected structure.

3.We call on the citizens of Sarajevo to maintain the current level of dignity and civilized attitude towards these inappropriate provocations.

4. The City of Sarajevo calls on the OHR and representatives of the International Community to, in addition to condemnation, take concrete action with the aim of removing the illegally erected structure, are the conclusions of the Collegium of the City Council.
