From June to September, volunteer expeditions at the Visoko pyramids

In 2015, the "Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun" Foundation is offering a summer adventure called: "Expedition to the Bosnian Pyramids with Volunteering", reports the BH news agency Patria.

These are eleven-day arrangements that will include four days of volunteering at the Bosnian pyramids under the expert supervision of the Foundation's archaeologists and geologists, as well as visits to the prehistoric sites of Daorson in Stolac, stone spheres in Zavidovići, pyramids and tunnels in Visoko, but also the cities of Mostar and Sarajevo, swimming at the Kravica waterfall, visiting stećci in Stolac, the dervish tekke in Blagaj...

In this way, the Foundation's guests will have the opportunity to get to know a larger part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its history, and unique natural beauties. Lunches will be organized in local communities with local, organic food. This will continue the unique tradition of volunteering and giving non-professionals a chance to participate in discoveries at the Bosnian pyramids, while at the same time getting to know all of Bosnia and Herzegovina better.

Ten such expeditions are planned for 2015, to be held in the period June-September. An ideal opportunity for the diaspora to recommend this program to the second generation of young people, as well as for neighbors from Croatia, Serbia, or Slovenia for a special adventure, and for foreigners to discover the mysteries and beauties of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
