Distribution of September child benefits and maternity allowances begins today

The Ministry of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of Sarajevo Canton announces that the payment of September cash benefits to municipal services on behalf of beneficiaries who have exercised rights based on the protection of families with children in Sarajevo Canton will begin today. For this purpose, the relevant ministry has allocated funds in the amount of 1,861,606.47 BAM.

The mentioned funds have been allocated for 15,615 beneficiaries of the right to child allowance, compensation instead of salary for a mother in employment while absent from work due to pregnancy, childbirth and childcare, financial assistance during pregnancy and childbirth for a mother who is not in employment, health insurance for child allowance beneficiaries, placement of children in preschool institutions, assistance for the nutrition of a child up to six months and additional nutrition for a nursing mother, and one-time assistance for newborn equipment, announced the Government of Sarajevo Canton.
