Citizens of the United Arab Emirates can enter BiH without a visa starting today

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 115th session held on December 18, 2014, adopted a new Decision on Visas. This Decision was published in the "Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina" number 3/15 on Monday, January 19, 2015, and enters into force on the eighth day from its publication in the "Official Gazette of BiH", which is January 27, 2015, reports the Patria News Agency.

Article 2 of the Decision on Visas states:

- A foreigner who is a citizen of one of the following countries is exempted from the obligation to obtain a visa for entry, transit, and stay in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina for up to 90 days within a period of 6 (six) months, starting from the date of the first entry..... (all 72 countries are listed).

With this new Decision, in addition to the State of Qatar and Kuwait, for which a visa-free regime existed previously, citizens of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Sultanate of Oman are also exempted from the obligation to obtain visas for BiH, and starting tomorrow, January 27, 2015, they can travel freely to Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to a statement from the BiH Embassy in the United Arab Emirates.
