From February 4 to 7, International Congress of Medical Students

Bosnalijek d.d, for the second consecutive year, provides support to the organization of the International Congress of Medical Students – SaMED 2016. More than 320 participants from 30 countries will take part in the Congress. Over 120 scientific papers will be presented, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The Congress will be held from February 4 to February 7, 2016, at Hotel Saraj and the University Clinical Center Sarajevo. The organizer of this Congress is the Association of Students of the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo.

After the great success of the First SaMED, which registered 235 students and young doctors from 17 countries worldwide, with 65 scientific research papers, this year the Congress will be even larger and more representative.

In addition to their own presentations, students will have the opportunity to hear lectures from experts in various fields on current topics in medicine. Under the patronage of Bosnalijek, at the very opening of the Congress, participants will attend a lecture dedicated to the latest guidelines in the treatment of high blood pressure.

In line with the previous practice of broad support for education and scientific gatherings, Bosnalijek will also organize a tour of the largest Bosnian pharmaceutical company for Congress participants.
