From September 30 to October 5, joint exercise: Quick Response of BiH Armed Forces and EUFOR members

 

In the Quick Response 2016 exercise, which will be held from today until October 5 at the training ground of the BiH Armed Forces at Manjača near Banja Luka, more than 750 soldiers with more than 70 vehicles and accompanying equipment will participate, EUFOR announced.

-The exercise will be a combined joint training of the BiH Armed Forces and their international partners, as well as an annual check of EUFOR's ability to deploy its reserve forces to be ready in case the BiH authorities request their assistance, the statement said.

This is the first time that EUFOR and the BiH Armed Forces, together with soldiers from European countries, will have the opportunity to hold a battalion-level exercise.

The exercise will include members of the armed forces of Great Britain, Austria, the Portuguese and Hungarian companies of EUFOR's tactical reserve forces, as well as members of the NATO KFOR mission, EUFOR announced.

-The exercise is the culmination of almost two years of planning, the statement said.
