Direct flights from Sarajevo to Rome starting October 29

(Patria) - The long-awaited direct airline on the Sarajevo - Rome route begins on October 29 this year!

Low-cost airline Wizz Air will establish year-round flights from Sarajevo International Airport, with three weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The establishment of this airline is the result of joint cooperation between Sarajevo International Airport, the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, and the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board.

We remind you that the Government of Sarajevo Canton, within the framework of the Subsidies Program for the Development of Tourism and Air Traffic in the Sarajevo Canton, has already supported two routes of the airline Wizz Air, namely the Sarajevo - London route which operates twice a week, as well as the Sarajevo - Abu Dhabi airline which operates five times a week.

The direct airline on the Sarajevo - Rome route will be the third strategic destination established from Sarajevo International Airport operated by Wizz Air, which is further confirmation of the results and activities of the airport management to secure as many destinations as possible from the list of strategic routes to and from Sarajevo.

This will also enable numerous interested tourists from Italy to visit Sarajevo and BiH throughout the year.
