
(Patria) - The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the Administration for Civil Affairs and Legal Matters, informs citizens that on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM, the Novi Grad Civil Affairs Sector will cease operations at the location Trg ZAVNOBiH-a br. 17, Alipašino Polje, and the location Prvomajska 22.
The cessation of operations will be due to the relocation of equipment to new premises and a newly built counter hall in the Novi Grad Police Administration building.
We emphasize that from Friday, April 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at the location Trg ZAVNOBiH-a br. 17, Alipašino Polje, services for receiving applications and issuing ID cards, receiving applications for issuing passports, and issuing CIPS registrations will no longer be provided to citizens.
Also, the existing small counter hall in the Novi Grad Police Administration building, where services for vehicle registration, and receiving applications and issuing driver's licenses are provided to citizens, will cease operations at 12:00 PM.
Therefore, none of the mentioned services will be available from Friday, April 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
All the mentioned services will be provided in the future in the newly built counter hall, in the extended part of the Novi Grad Police Administration building, Prvomajska 22 street, Švrakino Selo settlement, which will start operating on Monday, April 28, 2025.
Citizens are asked for patience and understanding due to the short interruption in operations, which is necessary for the start of operations in the new premises, it was announced from the MUP KS.
