SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The KS Assembly today adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Social Protection, Protection of Civilian Victims of War and Protection of Families with Children. Among other things, it defines that every mother will receive a monthly amount equal to the average salary in the Federation of BiH for one year, which is now around 1,000 KM. Currently, the monetary benefit for a woman - mother who is employed is 450 KM, and for an unemployed woman - mother it is 225 KM.
Every mother in the Sarajevo Canton, regardless of her employment status, will receive a monthly benefit in the amount of the average salary in the FBiH, which is now around 1,000 KM.
An additional amount of 29 million KM will be allocated from the Sarajevo Canton budget for these purposes.
