Since 2010, the Civil Service Agency has no data on the national structure of employees!

Back in 2010, the Personal Data Protection Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina banned the Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from processing personal data of employees in institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Human Resource Management Information System in institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina BH-HRMIS, which was intended to establish an integrated database for storing data on civil servants and employees of institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes the Patria news agency.

- Also, the same decision ordered the destruction of collected data due to the lack of a legal basis for processing personal data, as stated in the explanation of the decision, which is why the Agency does not have the data even today – say the Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is precisely because of this that the Agency could not respond to the inquiry of NAP journalists about how many Bosniaks and Croats are employed in the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- We refer you to the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Bosnia and Herzegovina for data on national affiliation, since the Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have the data you are requesting – stated the Agency.

The national structure within state agencies and institutions has been disrupted for a long time, and the fact that the Civil Service Agency has no data on employees clearly indicates that anyone can work in the agencies as they please.

- The Civil Service Agency does not keep specific data on civil servants hired individually by institution, while the employment of workers with secondary education at the level of BiH institutions is not under the jurisdiction of the Civil Service Agency – noted the Civil Service Agency.
