Out of 150 cadets, 17 are 'unfit' for service in the BiH Border Police, 24 candidates did not show up for medical examination

The BiH Border Police has not responded for five days to an inquiry sent by Patria on Monday regarding the testing of cadets last week who are supposed to start employment in this police agency, because a certain number of cadets did not show up for testing. Although we wanted to get more information about what preceded 24 cadets not showing up, instead of an answer, the GP BiH published the testing results on the same day we sent the inquiry.

For who knows what time, our questions remained unanswered, and we were interested in how the candidates were informed about the testing, because the lists were published only a day before the testing in Mostar.

And by reviewing these lists, it is evident that out of 125 cadets in the rank of police officer, 21 did not show up for testing. Out of 25 candidates for junior inspector, three did not respond to the medical examination.

And then, out of the 104 remaining cadets, 16 are unfit for the job of a police officer, and one candidate is unfit for junior inspector. As Klix reported, some candidates did not meet the height criteria required for a police officer. Otherwise, during the initial testing in the GP BiH, this criterion should have already been met.

However, considering everything that accompanied this competition, from corruption to nepotism and finally this scandal with non-appearance and a large number of candidates who are not fit for employment in the GP BiH, it will be a real stroke of luck when those who have been waiting for almost three years to start their employment are finally hired. The competition was published in November 2020.

In the GP BiH, after these tests, 21 junior inspectors and 88 police officers should be hired. However, the story does not end there. The cadets were obliged to submit forms for security checks, so the final list will still depend on the completed security checks of the cadets.
