From December 15 to January 15 Sarajevo Winter Market

At Liberty Square-Alija Izetbegović, from December 15 to January 15, the "Sarajevo Winter Market" will be held, and the installation of prefabricated structures, tents, and other accompanying content is underway. The Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, and the leadership of the Municipal Council, Chairman Jusuf Pušina and Deputy Chairmen Irfan Čengić and Sanel Dragolovčanin, yesterday visited the works at Liberty Square where they received promises from the organizers that this event will offer a multitude of interesting content during the winter holidays, for both the citizens of Sarajevo and the numerous tourists who decide to visit this city.

In the well-known area between the Faculty of Economics and the "Svjetlost" building, visitors will find plenty of reasons for joy and entertainment every day at the "Sarajevo Winter Market". This year's edition of the traditional winter gathering will be even richer and more diverse with twenty exhibitors, the best representatives of their industries, who will await visitors with games, songs, and first-class gastronomic offerings in wooden houses built especially for this occasion. In the center of Liberty Square-Alija Izetbegović, there will be a tent, which the organizers claim will be the epicenter of the month-long celebration. Interesting concerts and performances will be held there daily, and it is expected to become the main gathering place for young people during the month of this event. According to announcements, there will be a cafe, disco, restaurant, and a dance floor - all in one place.

For the youngest visitors, there will be a meeting with Santa Claus and entry into his special chambers, as well as the making of the largest Snowman, and a hunt for mischievous Winter Elves, like for mysterious Pokemons. Attractive prizes await the most skillful. Rudolph's Corner is expected to particularly delight the children, who will pull their parents' sleeves to participate in this enchanting game every day. The organizers expect that numerous tourists who decide to visit Sarajevo for the holidays, and who are accustomed to top-notch holiday atmospheres, will recognize all of this at the "Sarajevo Winter Market" and that it will become an event to which they will return.
