(Patria) - The Central Election Commission has published statistical data on the conducted Local Elections 2024 regarding elected mayors and city mayors.
Of the 142 mayors/city mayors, none are under 30 years old.
Regarding the total number of elected candidates by gender, men constitute 77.98 percent, and women 22.02 percent of candidates.
In terms of age structure, candidates over 30 years old constitute 89.76%, and candidates under 30 years old only 10.29%.
It should be taken into account that political parties are obliged to have a certain percentage of women and youth on their lists, and without this provision, the data might have been different, i.e., in favor of men.
